Last month, I flew Garuda Indonesia airline from Singapore to Jakarta. The time in Departure Terminal of Terminal 3 Changi International Airport (SIN) Singapore was worth spending. I also spent a little time waiting in SATS Executive Lounge prior to proceeding to boarding gate.
For me, reading and writing while waiting for the flight is worthwile. But spending time for going around and shooting with my mobile phone brought so many things to be memorized and shared.
Here are some shots that you might get if your flight departed from Terminal 3 Changi International Airport Singapore:
People may say airports in Indonesia are old-school and old-fashioned. But there is Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport in Makassar, the capital of South Sulawesi, Indonesia which shows a modern look.
Internationally coded as UPG, Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport serves flights as main-hub for eastern Indonesia. It is built by Indonesian engineers and designed by Indonesian architects. It shows good compromise among the function as airport, tropical climate and traditional South Sulawesi visualization.
I always enjoy my transit here. It is very easy to find shooting spots. I wish more Indonesian airports were built with similar compromises as this airport has.

Visiting Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Malaysia gives me time to enjoy lines and shapes in its architecture. Come early to KLIA and make some shots with my BlackBerry camera is worth a spend of time.
